Travis Scott “Didn’t Know” about Astroworld Deaths

Travis Scott was apparently unaware of the tragedy that unfolded at the Astroworld music festival and claimed the lives of eight concert-goers.

Last Friday night, 5 November, the victims were trampled to death by fans who rushed towards the stage as Scott performed at NRG Park in Houston, Texas. Hundreds more were also injured.

Per reports as of Tuesday, 9 November, the “TKN” rapper had attended an after-party at Dave & Buster’s following his set, completely unaware of the ensuing mayhem.

A source explained: “Travis didn’t know the severity of the situation when he arrived at the party; as far as timing, this remains consistent with the fact that no one including the police had publicly confirmed the gravity of the events that had taken place.”

Drake, who also performed with Scott and hosted the after-party, is also said to have been unaware of the tragic event.

Both rappers have since expressed their sorrow over the deaths, with Scott promising to pay for the victims’ funeral costs. However, they – along with the festival organisers, Live Nation – are facing lawsuits from affected concert-goers.
